I clicked on what I thought was a secure site and gave sign on info to a bank act( all userid & password changed) but I downloaded an anti virus app and through all your help I don’t need it on my iPhone. Can I just delete app? Will the scanning of the app stop? I don’t care about the $… just need to get this all straight! Thank you. iPhone 13 Pro Max

If you download an A/V app from the App Store, deleting the app is all you need to do. It is not possible to download an app from a website.
If you are receiving notifications that an app is scanning your computer, check at Safari > Settings > Websites > Notifications, and remove any site that you are allowing Notifications.

Delete the app. It can't really scan anything anyway.
