To all at Apple: PLEASE get rid of the unsolicited and unattended interference in using my new MacBook Pro to communicate with people I know and trust. I DID NOT authorize a Hide My Email app, or "service" or whatever it's called. I DID NOT install it or enable it and had never heard of it. Until friends, clients, and family members used the old-fashioned telephone to ask if I had changed my 25-year-old email address to a stupid collection of mis-matched words. Of course I didn't and wouldn't want to hide from those I love.
So ... how do we reverse this irritating thing? The instructions are not clear at all. I've been an Apple customer since 1983 and now can't trust this device or service. Seeking one or two quick sentences to delete this app and restore my email address as the only one associated with me.
The Hide My Email thing also is indicates that "I" created the email that it's protecting me from. There is no logic in this and I suggest removing it from everything Apple or Mac. Thank you.
