Name of software instrument doesn't change on a track when I assign a new instrument

Hello, I keep running into this problem. Sometimes when I switch software instrument on a track the sound changes but the instrument name on the track remains the same. Example: I create an instrument track, select "Upright Baby Base" from the library. The track shows Upright Baby Base on the name. Then i decide it's not the sound I want and select "Big Dipper" from the library, and the sound switches but the name and icon on the track remain "Upright Baby Base". Even if I make a recording with it, the name it automatically gives the file is "Upright Baby Base".

Is that a glitch with my logic x? Or do I have something selected I am not aware of? I never had that problem when i used an older version on a different laptop.
