There aren’t a lot of details that I can provide.
My iMac one day decided to not turn on.
i had a chat with apple’s support but nothing worked.
Before this happened I noticed that it took longer to go to a website. Also, I sometimes saw flashes in the background.
Our town is very small so I don’t have any resources to get it fixed.

Do you hear any noise or see any video on the screen when you power it on? If you do not then the power supply has likely failed. This is NOT a user serviceable part and the computer would need to be taken to a local Apple Authorized Service Provider for service. If I am correct and it is a hardware problem you can locate one in you vicinity by clicking Apple Authorized Service Provider Locator (AASP) & Genius Appointment
