Outlook 365 is extremely slow and continues to Freeze on my MacBook Pro

I have deleted Office 365 for Mac and then re-installed. However, OUTLOOK is extremely slow to load and continues to freeze. Any ideas as to why?

I have 20GB of flash storage available.OUT

WebThumbnailExtension consuming all CPU capacity. Possibly due to outlook? Hi I just recently bought a macbook for the first time. But there's one really annoying issue I'm running into that kinda has me on the verge of returning it. I noticed at some point that my Macbook had a dozen of these "WebThumbnailExtension" processes running which caused it to slow down to a point where even just opening a window will take several seconds. These processes will not disappear, even if I leave it running for half an hour. The only fix is restarting. I tried to figure out what was causing the issue, when I noticed that it always seemed to begin once I started searching with spotlight. I then reset the mac to factory settings and reconfigured everything, except for outlook. And the problem disappeared. After doing this again and installing outlook again it came back. I think there is some kind of issue with spotlight indexing all the years of emails, pdfs, excel files and other attachments that outlook will download to the machine. Googling this issue doesn't seem to lead to any clear fixes (disabling lookup & data detectors didnt fix the issue) and this seems to be a problem other people ran into also. Does anyone know whats happening here?

Outlook for Mac running very slowly after upgrade to Sonoma on MB Pro with M1 After upgrading to Sonoma 14.0 about a week ago, performance on my MBP degraded dramatically. I primarily use the MS Office 365 Suite, and almost any file opening or update is very slow. If I start a new email in Outlook for Mac, I get the spinning wheel for a few seconds and then it's 30-45 seconds longer before I can enter a "To" address in the email. On the Apple Activity Monitor, I don't appear to be pushing limits on CPU, Memory or Disk, and I don't have antivirus on the machine. I do have the Trend Micro security suite which is a requirement at my company, but I also had that suite installed under Ventura and the system performed very well. Would appreciate any advice on how to further diagnose and resolve the issue.

yahoo mail freezes on safari every time I use my yahoo mail on Mac browser (whether safari, or chrome) after a while it freezes. MacBook Pro software is up to date as is the safari and chrome version. happens every time - has been going on for days, unchanged if I close everything, restart computer or other. recommendations?

First, understand I am not trying to brush you off but rather get you the fastest and most effective help.

MS Office/Outlook is not an Apple product and there are not as many Office users active here as one would think. This, MS Office questions posted in Apple’s forums can linger here a long time and still get no answer.

Be sure to include "mac" in your search string to limit the search to Outlook Mac topics. Similarly, if you post a question include "Mac" in the title. That makes it easier for other Mac users to search for new posts.
