Connecting to TomTom GO 500 SatNav

My 2021 iMac running Sonoma 14.2.1 will not connect to my Tom Tom Sat Nav. The connection is not detected by the Mac have tried manually adding (as per TomTom guidance) by going through System Settings>Network but Sat Nav is not detected.

Any solutions?

But now that the iMac is running Mac OS Ventura it doesn't recognise neither. As far as the the GoPro is concerned that's not really a problem since I can plug the SD card into the iMac but I'de like to update my TomTom device and for that to work I have to connect it to the iMac. As soon as I plug in either the GoPro or the TomTom the device starts charging, so the cables are working and the devices are in fact connected to the iMac. But the system doesn't recognise them. When I open System Preferences > Network > Other Services I see the TomTom and the HERO 9 are not connected. See the screen shot below. Any suggestions in how to solve this, Thanks. Ivan

What to do if Mac mini fails to connect to router drive? I have Mac mini Sequoia 15.5 and trying to connect to my hard drive connected to my router - TP-Link - hardwired to the mini. iMac won't connect to the internet I have a 2019 iMac. the other day I started it up and it said it couldn't connect to the internet, I could not fix it. My drive is partitioned and I had MacOS Anacapa on the other partition, and it did connect to the web. I upgraded to Ventura, on that partition, it works just fine. I do have a beta copy on the first partition, which now I can't update because it won't connect to the web. it's not a problem connecting to the wifi it's connected. Anyone have any ideas? Also, can I update the system on one partition from the other partition?

First update Mac OS, you are slightly out-of-date. Then retry connecting, if that dos not work then restart in Safe Mode and then restart normally and test.

BTW, do you have any of the following third party apps installed on your Mac?

· Antivirus Apps

· Cleaning Apps

· Security Apps

· VPN Apps

· Maintenance Apps
