Air Tag not refreshing
Good morning, air tag is not updating please may you help as I have a HGV trailer that needs locating. It has been 2 weeks since the last location was shown.

It's important to understand that the AirTag does NOT know its location. Instead it relies on working in the Apple's Find My Network, which consists of millions of iPhones, to relay the tag's ID (along with the phone's GPS location) to the Apple servers over the Internet.
In this case, any of the following could be the reason that you're not getting location updates in the Find My app on your iPhone:
- There are no iPhones within Bluetooth range (~30-40') of the AirTag.
- The AirTag's Bluetooth signal cannot traverse through trailer's shell. (I'm assuming that it was placed inside.)
- The tag's battery level is low or depleted.
- Someone found the tag and removed its battery.
- The tag failed.
