Update to MacOS 14.3.1 and now I can't disable turbo boost

I was able to deactivate turbo boost as it used to overheat my Mac to horrible levels.

After the update I cannot disable it in any way.

If turbo boost is something your software cannot control or do good, might as well give us the chance to disable it, it's a horrible feature.

You cannot assume that every subsequent release of macOS on Intel platforms will continue to provide any means to control the processor's turbo boost functionality. Since Apple does not provide the tool to do this, you may want to verify with its vendor that the third-party Turbo Boost Switcher app is 64-bit and still compatible for Sonoma 14.3.1.

Not weird at all. Apple is continuously changing its frameworks and libraries and application vendors need to continously test and recompile as needed for major and point releases of the operating system. Sometimes, these vendors incorporate other third-party software in their builds that may not be compatible with the current release of macOS.
