I have a 2017 SE. Battery drains in an hour or 2 from. 100% to less than 10% while sitting unused! I’m not even using the phone. What’s wrong?

Battery health is at 98%

Your phone is 6 years old, the battery is shot. It's giving you a bad health reading, time for a new battery.

Batteries degrade over time with usage due to chemical aging, that's just how they work.

You can expect about a 1% drop per month with average use on an iPhone.

Apple recommends replacing it when it reaches 80%.
