shortcut "save screenshot" action "ask where to save " stuck

I need help with shortcut "save screenshot" action "ask where to save" which isn’t full screen preventing me to select folder.

Screen for no reason splits; left is screenshot; right is “ask where to save” but truncated folder choice.

How to choose folder location?

I've set my save location to desktop, but once my screenshots disappear after i take them, they are gone. They don't appear in the recent files or anywhere. Is there another way to fix this? I've tried everything from checking that I'm not taking a clipboard screenshot to resetting my save location through the screenshots application. Nothing is working.

Suddenly I don't get a thumbnail when I take a screenshot, how do I get this feature back. I use Command Shift 4 to take a small screenshot, then a thumbnail appears in the lower right corner of the screen and I can right click that for a menu or drag it to another window. Suddenly this feature is gone and it opens a window and wants me to save the image as a file. I don't want to save it as a file, how to I get the thumbnail feature back?

Stopping an infinite loop Shortcut How do I stop an infinite loop shortcut from another shortcut? There is an action to stop a shortcut, but it's only the current shortcut. When I am in Personal Focus mode, I want one folder of images to rotate as my desktop wallpaper When I am not in Personal Focus mode, I want a different set of images to rotate as my wallpaper. I made infinite loop Shortcuts but it never stops once it starts. Is there a good workaround for this?

Does the problem still occur if you simply tap your shortcut's rounded rectangle to directly run it? (Rather than opening it first.)
