screen sharing window freezes randomly in Sonoma

I have an M2 mini that I run headless that I control from an M1 Air. Both are up to date on their OS (Sonoma 14.3.1). The Mini window will freeze randomly. Reconnecting from my Air gives me a message that Connection failed to "M1min". Restarting my Air doesn't help. Restarting the network switch doesn't work. Restarting the Mini does.

What's going on??

MacBook Pro Screen turns black after Screen sharing with macOS 15.2 I connect from my personal MacBook Pro 16 M2 Max to my Corporate MacBook Pro 16 M3 Max using screen sharing. First I had problems with High Performance, but now I have connected them using a USB-4 cable properly recognised as Thunderbolt bridge, but the problem is independent of using the TB/High Performance. Every time I close the session either disconnecting from the Screen Sharing App from my personal MB or pressing the icon of Connection Sharing on the work laptop, the screen of the work laptop remains black. I could connect properly again another Screen Sharing session, but I need to force reboot if I want to use it locally (for example, I am going to the office). There is no way to regain the local control of the corporate laptop. After reboot it works properly until I start another Screen sharing session. Am I doing something wrong? Is there any other way to close the session? (Note: I did not test disabling the screen sharing on the corporate laptop to close the session, since I have to request access to elevate permissions and it has to be authorised - MDM/Jamf - and wait my manager to approve it. Screen Share not working after latest OS update Updated my Mac MINI M1 to the latest Ventura, 13.4.1, and SCREEN SHARING loses control after a few minutes. I can get it back by powering off and rebooting, but it doesn't last long. I can see the screen and move the mouse, but any mouse clicks are lost. If I disconnect from the host computer, iMac or MBPro with same OS, and try re-connecting, it never does. I can access external drives on the MINI, but screen sharing never comes back. Anyone else seeing this?

Mac Mini M1 keeps disappearing from home network I'm trying to run a Mac Mini M1 as a media server. I control it with Apple Remote (for music) and VLC remote (for video). Normally, no screen is connected, but I can screen share from a MacBook Air, if I need to access the drive directly. However, the machine keeps vanishing from my list of available devices, meaning that Remote can't see its library and I can't connect to it from my laptop. This happens at least every day and often several times per day. There is no obvious pattern to the disconnection. Nothing is being changed in the network settings and all the sharing preferences are correct - and if that weren't the case, the setup wouldn't work at all, which it does, but only ever for a couple of hours. All my other devices are recognised as usual on the LAN and when I connect a screen and keyboard to troubleshoot the M1, it's clear that the WiFi connection is also working normally. I'm running Sonoma and all my software is updated automatically, but the problem predated Sonoma anyway. This is all immensely frustrating.
