I'm noticing suspicious activity on my iCloud account

i have the iPhone 13 and about 2 months ago I was compiling pictures from my device, google photos, and iCloud Drive to use with some editing apps I had downloaded from the Apple Store. Soon after I started noticing that my storage data would fluctuate constantly and pictures that I had uploaded to the cloud or other I google photos would either randomly duplicate or disappear altogether only to reappear later saved in multiple places: some photos I have completely lost. Also the dates on some of the photos was able to recover were drastically different from when they had been originally taken. Most recently I have noticed in my backup settings for the iCloud that it is showing and excess amount of storage being used for what is actually visible on my phone and in the cloud. This includes photos iMessages and emails being backed up to the cloud. Even when I do not have my back up settings on or they on the manual back up setting. And finally I have been receiving emails that show they are from a blocked contact but still being sent to my inbox. Can anyone advise me?

I can understand why the duplicates but not ones completely being deleted. I thought that with cloud back ups they only imported automatically and backed up new files from your device, not take anything away permanently. The large data use my data and storage storage showing in iCloud that does not match what was uploaded from my phone.
