ProRes RAW Example Footage Download

I'm considering integrating ProRes RAW into my video production workflow, since the ability to change ISO and white balance in Final Cut Pro during post-production would be very useful. I was able to find some files online but they were ProRes RAW file shot on a device that doesn't include the ISO and white balance metadata (so it was basically like regular ProRes files). Can anyone with a ProRes RAW capable device record some example files for download, or recommend me a source where I can try ProRes RAW files before I make this investment?

I just uploaded 5 clips to wetranfsfer in two batches - see links below. I don't know if the links will be deleted by the moderator but you should get an email notification which will have the links as well.

The first three files were shot indoors using a 5500K approx video light. I used auto white balance for the first two shots and the third I set to 3000K tungsten so it is really blue. Correcting them to 5500K demonstrates the power of shooting raw.

Files 4 and 5 were shot outdoors and I exposed so as to go as close to clipping as possible on the clouds without going over the top and actually clipping. They might look clipped when you import them into FCP but you can use the ProRes Raw adjustment dialog to bring them back and they are fine - no clipping. They really demonstrate the power of raw again in recovering highlights that might look clipped as well as the ability of the Nikon sensor to capture highlight detail.

Good luck

I'm just this very minute testing an old manual focus lens on my Nikon Z9 with a very simple setup - an X-Rite Color Checker Passport on a table with various codecs including ProRes Raw. You are welcome to a couple of short clips to see how they import into FCP if you like. The WB, ISO and exposure settings can all be adjusted in FCP. Let me know if you want them.

"Wow Clint! What a kind person you are, an angel."

HaHa - I'm no angel Loca Alicia - believe me. The last person to call me an angel was my mother and her judgement might have been a bit distorted. Like the others here including yourself, it's a pleasure to help people especially when they appreciate the help so it's a big de nada from me. You are welcome to download the clips - no problem at all.
