How can I get my MacBook to log wifi activity?

When I look at wifi log files, they always show as having just been turned over with no history.

When I restart, wifi.log shows:

Thu Feb 22 17:44:39.233 <airport[412]> _initInterface: Unable to initialize unified logger

Thu Feb 22 17:44:39.233 <airport[412]> _initInterface: Unable to initialize unified temp logger

Thu Feb 22 17:44:39.233 <airport[412]> _initInterface: Unable to initialize logger

Thu Feb 22 17:44:39.233 <airport[412]> _initInterface: Unable to initialize driver message tracer monitor

Thu Feb 22 17:44:39.234 <airport[412]> _initInterface: Unable to initialize unified temporary logger

Wi-Fi and EAPOL logging are both enabled in Wireless Diagnostics.

Why would this happen? Is there a setting I can change that will initialize the loggers?

Thanks for any insight!

What I see is a history of logs...

Finder>Go>Go to Folder copy & paste:

/var/log/wifi.log

you get the same current wifi log buried in the sydiagnose folder from the Terminal.app copy and paste:

sudo sysdiagnose -f ~/Desktop

Thank you again.

Logging is enabled, but something is preventing the loggers from initializing (see initial post).

I'm looking for a fix to initialize them or help with troubleshooting if possible.

Have you considered as Admin logging into your router via your browser and search Outgoing Log Table, System Log, Connections Log, etc.

if in doubt you can search online for your brand name router and the how to ...

or consult the router documentation or manufacturer's website.
