Deleting Messages from ALL devices.

I have a total of 4 Apple devices. iMac Pro, MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and iPhone SE. . All 4 are on the same account

When I delete a message on one device, it warns me "This will be deleted from All of your devices."

That's what *I* want. But when I acknowledge the message and then delete the file from Message (the Apple Message application) on any device, it is NOT replicated across all of the others. TO synchronize the 4 devices I have to 1, Log into the device. 2, Open up Message, and 3 Delete the messages that are there.

Any ideas of why this is happening ?

IOS version on iPad and iPhone is iOS 17.1.3.. The Mac OS version on both MacBook and iMac is Sonoma 14.3.1

any ideas?

iMac Pro, macOS 14.3
