Lid of my MacBook Air doesn’t close properly with new case

I bought a MacBook Air M2 2020 last year and after a year of use I decide do buy a case for protecting my laptop from external scratches. I choose the Incase Hardshell recommended by Apple store because I have heard some bad histories from cheaper and non certificate cases but I noticed that when I put the case on the lid doesn’t close properly, there is a big gap when I close the lid, specially in the corners I feel worried about it because when I see the lid from a lateral view it seems to be little curved with the center touching the base and corners lifted, the gap disappears when I take the case of, my husband has the same model and it doesn’t happens on his Mac even with a case not recommended by Apple! Please HELP I DON´T KNOW IF IT´S JUST ABOUT TIME WHILE THE COMPUTER ADAPTS TO THE CASE OR SHOULD I REMOVE IT NOW!!??

MacBook Air, macOS 12.4

Do not use a hard case. A reason is obvious, it may interfere with the closing of the computer. And, it may interfere with cooling of the computer.
