Can I use AirPods Pro 1 with AirPods Pro 2 case

I have a pair of AirPod Pro1 where I have dropped the case so it won’t charge. Now I have bought a used AirPod Pro2 case, but it won’t connect. it keeps flashing orange, no matter how long I hold the button down it only beeps three times. The guy that I bought the case from lost his AirPods but have removed them from his iCloud account. The case is still under warranty. I have tried everything.???

Use Generation 2 Case with Generation 1 Airpods Is it possible to use the 2nd gen AirPods pro case with the first-generation AirPods Pro? Each time I try to put the 1-gen pro AirPods in the case 2-gen it’s starts flashing amber. I’ve tried reseting the case and have also removed it from the iPhone. My AirPods Pro are flashing orange and not reconnecting one of my AirPods was destroyed and I had a replacement one from a different set of gen 2 AirPod pros. I forgot both sets of them on my phone and combined them into 1 case, I reset the AirPods in the case and when I follow the steps to reconnect ( hold down the connect button for 6 seconds) it flashes a white LED for about 2 seconds then it chimes and flashes orange. Nothing comes up on my phone or a friends phone saying that they are available to connect to either phones on Bluetooth. Otherwise it just flashes orange whenever I open the case.
