IOS 17 spell checking correctly spelled words

With the IOS 17 update, I am getting spell check highlighted words with auto-correct suggestions for words that I've spelled correctly in the first place. I click on them because it makes me second guess that I've mis-spelled the words, although I haven't. The spell check suggestions aren't even real words which makes it difficult to tell if I've spelled the word wrong or not. So I'm going to Google to double check myself. This is absurd and a total waste of time! This will cause me to start ignoring the spell check even if I've mis-spelled the word. Can we please fix this?
