Problems with iOS 17.3.1 update?

I heard people are having iPhone problems after latest update, 17.3.1. I turned off auto update. Is it safe to update?

Just as you can always find some evidence online supporting the hypothesis “the earth is flat”, there will surely be some naysayers about iOS updates. You should always update iOS when Apple releases an update. These provide security enhancements, defect repairs, and occasionally new features. Major (more than merely security enhancements) updates are beta tested for weeks before release.
