Problems with iOS 17.3.1 update?
I heard people are having iPhone problems after latest update, 17.3.1. I turned off auto update. Is it safe to update?

Just as you can always find some evidence online supporting the hypothesis “the earth is flat”, there will surely be some naysayers about iOS updates. You should always update iOS when Apple releases an update. These provide security enhancements, defect repairs, and occasionally new features. Major (more than merely security enhancements) updates are beta tested for weeks before release.

No, do not update. My iPhone 12 pro max can no longer use the 0.5x camera. If I use it, the camera just stops working. In the camera app, photo and portrait modes no longer work. All modes stop working if I zoom out below 1.0x. My battery drains faster than when I was on 17.2.
Yes.
Just did the update and it’s fine.
I updated it and now I’m getting Cellular misfires. My phone calls and text just stopped working for those who aren’t iPhone. It is saying that my cellular wasn’t properly updated or whatever.

Excellent. Enjoy your iPhone.
I have always updated but I’ve read too many reports of problems with this one. I think I’ll wait until an update on the update.
