Yellow Screen Glitch on Iphone 13 Pro

I've had this phone for less than 2 years and have taken good care of it. This morning I checked my messages and it started to have a yellow screen glitch. I then googled how to fix it because it made my heart sink. This phone was my only source of income. Several sources say this is not a user-related issue but Apple's fault itself due to the IOS updates. Now, I try to chat up Apple support and they want to charge me an arm and a leg to fix a problem they caused. This does not sit right with me. It's like stealing a candy from a baby.
