How to set up Family Watch function on Apple Watch

I bought an Apple Watch with the compatibility of a Family Watch function for my ten years old girl last Jan 2024. The Apple Store’s worker told me I could set the family watch connection with Vodafone. I went to Vodafone, spent hours and they could not do it and don’t know how to. I went home googled for a few days and finally I found Truphone was the actual provider. I spent another few days emailing Truphone back and forth to have this set up. When I almost gave up, the watch worked. I was worried that Truphone was a scam so I did not set up an auto renewal. Now that the service has expired, I am going through all the hassles with Truphone again.

In conclusion, Apple Store should give an accurate information about the setting up of the family watch.

Truphone is not user friendly compared to other provider. My daughter used Spacetalk before the Apple Watch , and Spacetalk worked instantly as soon as I inserted the SIM card. They also sent notification before the account expired and gave you a week or so to update payment.
