Error with Microsoft SSO "Session information is not sufficient for single-sign-on AADSTS50058"

Hi,

I just got a new MacBookAir. I have Sonoma 14.3.1 and Safari 17.3.1.

When signing in to https://login.microsoftonline.com/ to access one of my company's ressources (protected by Microsoft SSO) this is what happens:

  • it looks like I am signed in because Safari displays the below screen:

  • when clicking on my login account nothing happens (I click again and again and I never get to the page protected by the Microsoft SSO)
  • when trying to sign out I get this error: AADSTS50058: Session information is not sufficient for single-sign-on

The only solution is to "use another account" whenever I want to access one of my company's ressources, but the SSO is always failing. I always have to authenticate myself.

I am guessing the SSO token is not stored properly but I cannot log out to delete this 'wrong SSO token'.

I have tried to clear History from Safari, Empty Caches from the Safari Developer menu, remove all websites data.

I also tried to delete some keychains entry but no luck as well.

Yesterday I reinstalled macOS, and again no luck here.

Any help will be appreciated.

MacBook Air 15″, macOS 14.3
