I lost my iPhone and I want to get my photos on my Mac

iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 17

That would only be possible if you were using iCloud Photos. In that case you could download them onto your make by signing into the iCloud website.


If you did not use iCloud Photos and had backed up the device previously to iCloud, you can restore that backup to another phone and then AirDrop or send the photos to your Mac.


Without either of those 2 options you will not be able to get your photos. Your phone can only be erased remotely using Find My, you cannot get information off of the device remotely.

If you synced photos with iCloud, on your Mac, go to www.icloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID and Password to iCloud. They will be there if you did sync with iCloud. If you don't sync with iCloud, your only hope of retrieving the photos would be if you backed up your iPhone. Was your iPhone backed up? If no backup, and no sync with iCloud, you won't find a path to get your photos back.
