I’m trying to locate my dad who’s using my Subaru with my iPhone 7 in the vehicle but I haven’t subscribed to the (“Starlink “gps/ radio subscription that came with the car) from my iPhone 7 I have access to currently. Anyone know how that’s possible?
You have an iPhone, and wish to track your father via (your?) Android phone likely with your father.
You can’t track a Subaru or a SiriusXM radio without access to SiriusXM data which is AFAIK not generally available outside of SiriusXM. Whether that particular Subaru has other location-reporting capabilities, you’ll need to discuss with Subaru dealer.
If you need to track an Android device—and for the purposes of tracking the Subaru and the (lack of a) SiriusXM subscription aren’t particularly relevant here—you’ll need to use whatever tool Google offers for tracking that Android device. PS: Starlink is a satellite-based ISP, does not (yet?) provide streaming media services, and is just starting to dabble in cellular carrier services.
