I am getting a message from smetronem.com saying my iphone has been hacked.
How do I protect?

All such messages are scams presented by criminals. Close the offending page and avoid sites that are involved in such bogus advertising tactics.

Thank you stedman1. That’s exactly what I did. Just wanted to be sure there were no other steps I should take.
FYI I know the attack originated from a Viking Cruise Company booth at a trade show. Moral of the story:
even if it’s a reputable company, don’t go scanning unknown QRS codes.
