Camera Won’t Work Without ITunes Card.

I’m not having this problem, someone else is and it doesn’t make sense to me.

Someone is telling me that they can’t use their camera on an iPhone because it says to update the camera with an iTunes card… They showed me a screenshot of what it says… And they said they need the iTunes card for connection.

Again, it’s not me having the problem and it doesn’t make sense to me because I have an old iPhone “without service” and I use it to listen to music while mowing my lawn and I can also take pictures and videos with it.

Either they’re getting scammed, or maybe they’re going to try to scam you, or it’s a joke.

While other organizations can be lax about spelling and grammar, Apple tends to be careful. And there are trademark and grammatical errors in that pop-up.

Or given the 500 or so matches for that same image around the ‘net, maybe this is intended as a joke?

In either case, they do definitely need to update iOS if not also their iPhone, as that camera app is from an old version.
