SOS on my Verizon since yesterday

Woke up on Saturday with sos on my iPhone was not updated yet, made sure my bill was paid even though I could not confirm my identity because I can’t receive texts! I needed to using the my Verizon app to make a payment. This was yesterday now on Sunday we still do not have service and I can’t confirm who I am to my bank because they want to text me a code, which I CAN’T receive!

SOS means that your phone is working, but is not connected to your carrier’s network. It can only make emergency calls on other networks. You need to contact your carrier to resolve this. Here is guidance from Apple→If you see No Service, Searching, or SOS on your iPhone or iPad
