How can I cancel my iCloud subscription?
What if you don’t want ICloud can you cancel it

If you are currently paying extra for more storage you can downgrade or cancel that plan by looking here:

You do get 5GB for free, but you certainly do not have to use it. Just go to Settings > [name on top] > iCloud and shut off all the apps that are using iCloud. You will have to tap "Show All" to view additional apps. Also shut off iCloud Backup on that same page.
You are now not using iCloud at all. Be aware that without the iCloud Backup you will lose all photos and data stored on your device if you forget your passcode or the device is damaged.
