Coreaudio error

Hi all!

And I have an Antelop Audio ZEN Q USB audio interface in my recording studio. I experience a lot of discomfort when I work. Because my sound from my monitors constantly moves to the right side by itself. When I reboot my audio interface, for a few minutes I hear the sound exactly in the middle. Interestingly, my original iMac speakers also play and change the balance on their own. I checked the audio settings but the fader is in the middle. I tried almost all the methods described on the Internet, the Balance Lock application, Reset Audio Balance script, but it does not reset for Ventura 13.6.1 I'm confused how to fix this.I'll attach one of the messages I receive from the console.

OK, thanks for clarifying.

Are you running any VPN, Anti-Virus, or Cleaning apps?

We need to see what all is running, a report from this will not display any personal info...

Uninstall Avira per their directions , then run etrecheck again to see what chaff it left.

Delete these files & restart...

/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.xquartz.privileged_startx.plist

/Library/LaunchAgents/com.microsoft.SyncReporter.plist

/Library/LaunchAgents/org.xquartz.startx.plist

Let's see what that does for you.

How's it acting?

I see EFILogin is still crashing, see possible cure here...

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/44958896/efilogin-helper-running-continuously-at-high-cpu-on-macbook-pro

Go to system preferences => Desktop & Screen Saver

Select Apple->Desktop Pictures and choose the first option.

efilogin-helper will eventually quit after about a minute and no longer be a problem.

Bizarre but true!

(Once you have confirmed that you have indeed resolved the issue you can then probably reselect your preferred wallpaper without a problem.)

And/or..

For those that are truly tired of this, and want to never see that process started automatically again:

  1. restart into recovery > terminal in recovery mode
  2. run csrutil disable
  3. restart into normal mode
  4. cd /System/Library/LaunchDaemons (or something like that)
  5. run rm -f com.apple.efi...plist (you can find the one I'm talking about
  6. by running grep -l efilog * )
  7. boot into recovery again > terminal in recovery mode
  8. run csrutil enable
  9. restart into normal
  10. GET YOUR COMPUTER BACK

This may have implications related to changing your wallpaper, IDK, and IDC, 20gb RAM / 100% CPU usage is unacceptable on a process that's supposed to help with wallpaper switching.
