I bought my iPhone 11 and with less than a month it had lost 5% battery life

Well, the iPhone 11 was discontinued about a year and half ago, so if it was really "new", it had been sitting in a warehouse somewhere for 18+ months, which would not have been good for the battery at all.


In a case like this, the Battery Health might show 100% when the phone was first powered on, but after operating for a week or two, the real Battery Health would be recalibrated and displayed. That would explain the 5% drop....not bad after 18 months.


From this point on, the Battery Health will tend to drop on average at about 1% a month, so you have approximately 15-16 more months of battery life left before the health drops to 80%. At that point, you need to replace the battery/
