Macbook Air (M1): USB-C ports problem
Recently, I discovered that my macbook is not charging and also not picking up any external hard drive through USB-C ports. Other things are working fine. Somehow it got discharged and as ports were not working. I visited one of the authorized service center and told them that the ports are not working. The person said that they need to submit the MacBook and check what the problem is. I submitted the MacBook, after 2 days I got a call that motherboard has some defect and needs to be replaced that will cost 45000(INR).
After some days, I called another authorized service center and told them that the ports are not working and needs to replace them. They again told me the same thing that first they will submit and check what’s wrong.
I wanted to ask if motherboard was the problem how other things are working perfectly, only the ports are the problem.
Is this the way how apple service Center function generally?
