Apple card fraudulent charge declined weekly from facebook

Each week o receive a message that a $15.00 charge from Facebook has been declined and my card number has been changed. I have no payment method attached to Facebook and rarely even use Facebook anymore.

I am concerned if I enable a recurring payment for lets say my cable bill that it will be declined because they keep changing my card number every time this Facebook charge is attempted.

Customer service seemed bothered when I called about the problem so I welcome any input here how to stop this.

What you’re seeing is normal. Someone setup a subscription on Facebook and fraudulently used a number associated with your account. What you’re seeing is normal and just ignore the declined transaction. They stop after about 3 to 6 months.

In regard to starting a new subscription, you’ll be fine. You might also want to enable Advanced Fraud Protection. I use it with my account and my subscriptions have no issue with it enabled.
