App Privacy report

Hi there,

Can you tell me on my iPhone why my location, camera, photos and microphone could be accessed for approximately 6 minutes all at the same time today? Tracking requests are set to No, and I did not access my phone at all at this time. my phone however was switched on.

What is the purpose of the ‘Significant Locations’ reports? I was curious if I could use my iPhone location services feature to determine how many hours I’ve spent over a six month period at a specific work location, now as a feline ghost I’d like to be made to understand exactly why my iPhone shows 192 reports in the significant locations menu being stored on my device and/or in the “cloud” (that in reality is a network of underground bunkers full of data storage devices) that I’m unable to open or view… on the same screen I’m informed that that the reports are “end to end encrypted so that even Apple cannot access this information”. Track Apps to request to track is grayed out Under Privacy and security the ask apps to request to track is grayed out for some reason. Ive read other solutions such as sign out of media and purchases but thats only a temp fix. I met all criteria im over 18, the device isnt managed by a school or business. And my apple wasnt created 3 days ago

What is “search” in privacy > location services on iPhone On setting there are 2 options: "Never" and "When I Share" What is the effect of the above settings? which app or service is impacted? This question has been around for years in multiple places, but no clear answer so far. I'm re-using an image already posted here by another Community User on Dec 16, 2021 12:45 PM
