Hello there,

To find out when your iPads were purchased, especially if they are used for business purposes in your office, there are a few methods you can try:

1. Check Your Email for Receipts:

- Look for any email receipts from Apple or the retailer where the iPads were purchased. These emails typically include the purchase date.

2. Review Business Records:

- If the iPads were purchased for office use, your company’s finance or purchasing department may have records or invoices that include the purchase dates.

3. Check with the Retailer:

- If you know where the iPads were purchased, contact the retailer. They might be able to look up the transaction history using your company’s details.

4. Apple Support:

- Contact Apple Support. They may be able to provide the purchase date if you give them the serial number of the iPads. You can find the serial number in Settings > General > About.

5. Apple's Coverage Check:

- Visit Apple's Check Coverage website (checkcoverage.apple.com).

- Enter the serial number of your iPad (found in Settings > General > About).

- This will not show the exact purchase date, but it will give you information about the warranty status, which can help estimate the age of the device.

6. Look at the Model and Software:

- Since you mentioned they are iPad minis with iOS 9, you can estimate their age based on the model and the iOS they are running. However, this won't give you a precise purchase date.

7. Physical Inspection:

- Sometimes, the original packaging or documentation that came with the iPad might have a purchase date or a clue about when it was bought.

Knowing the purchase date can help you determine if your iPads are still under warranty. Keep in mind that iPads, especially older models running outdated iOS versions like iOS 9, may start facing performance issues due to hardware aging or software obsolescence.

Best of luck.
