I have an iPhone 13 and I cannot get rid of this monster. Does anyone know how. I’m very frustrated. I’ve turned everything off except the microphone like I saw an earlier post in. Help me save my 1000’s of pictures please! Thanks in advance!

Tap and hold on the app you want to remove. An option will appear to Remove App. Tap that. Confirm by tapping Delete App. And then once again tap Delete.

If you downloaded a DuckDuckGo app, it is deleted just like any other app, there are no tricks.

If you are using the DuckDuckGo search engine, then go to Settings > Safari > Search Engine, and change it to anyone that you want.
Why can you not delete the app?
If you have installed the DuckDuckGo browser, simply delete it as you would any other app.
Otherwise, you will need to provide more info.
Sorry, but you’re not making a lot of sense. DuckDuckGo is a search engine. Are you trying to change the default search engine in Safari? Are you trying to delete the DuckDuckGo app from your device? And what do either of those have to do with the pictures on your phone?
I’m replying to a post I don’t see yet but I have 1000’s of precious pictures on my phone. I can’t delete the app I downloaded because the instructions are so confusing and complicated that nothing works except to simply reset my iPhone 13 to default settings. I refuse to do that due to the content on it but this app has to go to do so. Thanks in advance again.
