Voice mail messages

When a caller heard my voice mail, the beep for the recording is just a flat “dunk” sound instead of a beep. How can I change the sound that starts the recording signal? The current “donk” sound is not audible to the caller.

Stop outgoing message sound but keep text alert How do I turn off the“Swoosh” sound for an outgoing message? (BUT I WANT TO KEEP HEARING TEXT ALERTS) I saw this was asked already but the answer was wrong. Going to Settings > Sounds & Haptics, and looking for sound and vibration options. There you can see Sent Mail and if you tap it you can change the alert tone from Swoosh to None. But that doesn’t work. Mine already says none. Swoosh isn’t even an option for the “Sent mail”

No TONE is playing after voicemail messages I have an iPhone 13 Pro, iOS Version 17.0 and this week I started getting a lot of dead air voicemails. The callers are not getting a tone to let them know the voicemail is being recorded. I switched from my custom greeting to the default greeting. The default greeting states to leave a message after the tone but there still is NO TONE is being played.

That sound is provided by your carrier, this has nothing to do with your phone or settings. Contact your carrier for help with their service.
