DiamondMax 160GB SATA 150 HDD to a Macbook Pro 16" 2021

The model of HDD is a Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 160GB SATA 150 HDD 3.5 Series which was fitted to a Desktop Computer running Windows XP.

My question is, can this be done using a ZILKEE Recovery Drive and what would the configuration be.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

If you mean this device:

https://www.zilkee.com/products/zilkee-hard-drive-converter?variant=42634477076709

Theoretically, yes. I've never heard of that brand before. With Macs, compatibility is never guaranteed although it appears the product page specifically mentions Mac compatibility.

Just curious whether your old PC computer where this Maxtor drive was used is no longer able to power on? If the old computer was powering on, but was unable to boot to this Maxtor drive, then more than likely this Maxtor drive is bad. In that case, macOS is not going to be able to do much for you for recovering any data from the drive since macOS doesn't handle errors from a failing hard drive very well and can even make the failure worse because of not being able to handle those errors. If your old PC still powers on....even if it won't boot to this Maxtor drive, then there are other ways to check the health of the Maxtor drive and to recover data using the original PC. If you provide some more details, I would be glad to guide you in that endeavor.
