Send money using your Apple Cash card and your debit card

Send money using a debit card

For any Apple Cash transaction, you can choose to pay with a debit card. To do this, when you're ready to send your payment:

Tap Send, then tap the Send button.
Tap your Apple Cash card.
Tap the Apple Cash slider to turn it off.
Tap your debit card to select it. Then, if you are using an iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch, double-click the side button to pay. If you are using an Apple Vision Pro, double-click the top button to pay.
Confirm your payment with Face ID, Touch ID, Optic ID, or your passcode.

While trying this I am stuck on step 1 and 3. From where do i go to tap the send icon in step 1 and what is the Apple Cash slider in step 3 (I am trying this on a iPhone 14 pro running iOS 17.3.1) added screenshot of top of page

Have sent money to friend or relative with the text message option from apple cash balance, after seeing the title-

"Send money using your Apple Cash card and your debit card "I am under the impression I can send money directly from my debit card instead of first transferring to my Apple Cash balance from my debit card .

With your help I found it had to turn off Apple Cash then debit card option appeared using the text message method

Are you trying to send funds to a friend or relative? Are you using funds in Apple Cash or you want to use a debit card?
