I read on a thread that iPhone 15 pro overheats during the first days, mine gave the “iPhone needs to cool down” message and my charger melted. The whole room smelled like melted plastic. You could bake an egg on the charger. Is this normal? Or should you not wirelessly charge the new iPhone anymore ?

Thank you for your answer! I used this charger for 2 years without problems on iPhone 12 Pro. Currently the iPhone 15 pro is charging by cable and this doesn’t seem to trigger overheating. Should we never wirelessly charge the new iPhone ?
