Limited Badges display problems

I am deeply disappointed that the fitness app got rid of a lot of limited badges so far.

Is anyone else having problems viewing the limited badges earned and using the GIFs that come with them?

I am able to see them on my Apple Watch (series 3) but I can’t see the badges or use the GIFs (messenger) on my phone. Only the workout GIFs show up but none of the limited badges GIFs.

My fitness app is current with updates. I am not sure if Apple is trying to phase out older equipment or if there are some glitches going on with the fitness app. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
