Hi so I was wondering why on my iPhone XR it doesn’t have an eSIM option is that bc it doesn’t come on that phone or is it just my phone

iPhone Xr was an iPhone with eSim capability. It's possible however, you own an iPhone manufactured for China, Hong Kong or Macau, which would not have eSim capability.
Anecdotally, I’ve found that the “Add eSIM” option didn’t consistently appear until I had already added the 1st eSIM.
Don’t know if this was due to the device, my carrier, or the iOS at the time. (it’s been a couple of years)
However, if your phone has an IMEI2 listed, it IS eSIM’able.
