All of a sudden my texts are sending in green and not blue, and I checked my settings and my imessages are turned on and it is happening when I send a text to a person who also has an iphone.

The person you are sending to may not have iMessage turned on, or may be having a problem with iMessage. In Settings/Messages do you have “Send as SMS” turned on? If so this will cause your phone to default to SMS if an iMessage can’t be sent.
