Just bought this iPhone 12 preowned today. It has shown me “no service”, I’ve put the sim in again 10 times, turned the phone on and off, tried another simcard, turned airplane mode on and off. Every fix provided. Still “no service”. I feel absolutely ripped off!! I just bought this thing and I cant connect to my cellular network

It cannot be a cellular carrier issue as the simcard works fine on my wifes iPhone 8 and my old iphone XR. Its 1:47 am here in South Africa so I can’t contact anyone at the moment, both from apple and the carrier (Cell C). I will go to the istore tomorrow with my payslip and present the issue to the genius bar. I assume its a hardware issue as i’ve seen a lot of complaints about this issue with the iphone 12.
