Mac App Store not updating apps

App Store doesn't update the Apps showing as due for update. Logging out and Logging in again doesn't help.

The amount of cash in Appstore also remains unchanged.

Cannot view purchased apps on App Store for macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra When I try to use the Mac App Store with my iMac, the app does load the home page, but will not show the top bar that shows the trending, updates, purchased, you know all that. I'm trying to get to my previously purchased apps so that I can download apps through older versions (which isn't easy to do, you can't just search for the app and click "get", it will show an error). Here is what I see on my end. Hope someone can find a fix.

I cannot update or download anything from the app store I tried all of the steps in KB - If you can't download or update apps on your Mac - Apple Support I still cannot update or download anything from the app store

Something must have worked.

Nothing worked including the App Store "com." files cleaning in the Library .

I wasn't brave enough to re-install or downgrade the OS.

Something happened after I cleared my hard disk to increase the space available(10% available to 20% available).

Maybe, it was system built protective mode to not let apps encroach on the reserved spaces.
