No Unlock after software update (iPhone 15 Pro Max)

Yesterday evening I updated my iPhone 15 Pro Max with the latest iOS 17.3.1. version. After the update has ended the phone started and I was not able to use the touch screen to unlock my phone. I restarted the phone several times but without any effect, the touchscreen does not work any more. I can exclude af defect of the touch screen as it worked before the software update had started and the phone was not moved or droped during the update.

Do you have an idea what to do?

iOS updates generally aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. Unlock issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.

Kindly consider checking your settings and addressing any device issues before attributing the issue to external factors.
