how to delete an email account from mail app

I’m trying to delete an old work email from my mail app but the only option I have is to login. I do not have access to this account anymore. Any way to delete without being signed in to that email?

iPhone 12, iOS 17

Settings > Mail > Accounts > [this account] > Delete Account.

Ah, Exchange is involved. I suggest you seek assistance from your previous employer’s IT folks.

There isn’t an option to delete it. I only have the option to re-enter password.
