Ventura... buttons are always dark blue and impossible to read

According to the "manual" you are supposed to be able to set this in Appearances/highlights....this has no effect on the buttons though.... any tips? I do NOT want to change to Dark mode or something like that... as this makes everything worse 😜

I don't use OpenOffice, but I downloaded it to test. I was hoping to find a setting in the application itself to change its appearance. There are many things one change, but I could not find a way to change the color of the buttons.

I agree that the black text on dark blue button does not make it easy to read.


Perhaps you want to try LibreOffice instead. It does follow the Mac conventions, in particular the buttons follow the settings from System Settings->Appearance, and seems to be more actively maintained as well.
