no webcam detected for facebook photobooth or anything

mid 2012 mac book pro...the last time i upgraded to catilina i lost my webcam

i tried restarting the mac...

resetting pram

resetting smc

i tried sudo killall stuff as well

backed up everything on time machine and thought that would save me

im thinking maybe if i bought another mac book and put in this hard drive...would the camera work?

dont ever do that , unless you saved all your keys for the apps you bought...of course i only saved a few...and lost so much when i rebooted and went thru the long process of reinstalled catilina from time machine

of course it put back the apps but now..it says they are only demo's not the full service apps i bought for the life time of my machine...so please if you dont have the keys for your apps dont ever reinstall cause you will lose everything you bought
