Delayed Text

I am not the most Tech savvy but I don’t have any automation tab in Shortcuts. This is ridiculous that you can’t send a delayed text. The reason doesn’t matter. My ability to not easily do so makes me want to find another avenue. If IPhone thinks they can control this, then I guess I need to make a change.

YOU CANT THINK YOU CANT CONTROL EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE WILL BE OK. But, I’m in the minority so F me good!!!!

CarPlay - skip to next message using CarPlay in a Honda - Apple iPhone 15 with iOS 17 We get several automated text messages and previously could choose the SKIP button. CarPlay would start to read a message and we could click on the skip button. CarPlay would then stop reading that message and start reading the next message. is there anyway to change settings to get ability again? It seems to have disappeared with the update to 17 but it might also be a setting that we changed when we got a new phone. thanks
