Cannot upgrade to iCloud+

When I try to upgrade, it gives a pop-up window to change store to my country and directs to App Store. After I changed the country, it still gives the same pop-up window, opens App Store with this pop-up window

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 14.3

If you have recently moved to another country, you may need to change your Apple ID Account to that country: Eg: In the linked article below:

Check through: ”What to do before you change your country or region" for anything that applies

See how to: Change your Apple ID country or region - Apple Support


Then scroll down to: "Use your Mac (or Windows PC) to change your region": and follow the steps.

You may want to check you are signed in (to your Mac) with your correct Apple ID:

Manage your iCloud+ subscription on your Mac


  1. On your Mac,
    • macOS 13 or later: Choose Apple menu  > System Settings, click [your name] at the top of the sidebar, then click iCloud.
  1. Click Manage.
  2. Click Change Storage Plan or Add Storage, then :
    • Upgrade: Choose the amount of storage you want, click Subscribe to iCloud+ or Next, then follow the onscreen instructions.
